Overview:  Small is beautiful, and passengers can even visit the bridge and engine room should they wish. Very traditional build of ship, with teak decks. Like the Hebridean Princess, it is built like a country house hotel, complete with stone fireplace in the lounge. This ship visits small out of the way ports, well away from the cruise liners. 

Suitable for:  Couples and singles with an interest in natural history and geography. The ship often has a guest speaker.

Cuisine. There is a single seating for dinner, with beautifully presented meals on Villeroy & Bosch china. 

Spa facilities: There is a small spa a the aft of the ship, with a hairdressing salon, gym and steam room.

Entertainment: There is no formal entertainment, just a civilised lounge for good company and conversation.
