The cruise will start from Genoa and then visit Marseilles (visit the Gardens of Chateau Borely), Valencia (see the citrus fruits, vegetables and ricefields that surround the city and visit the Montforte Gardens), Casablanca, Agadir, Lanzarote and Malaga (experience the magnificent gardens of Alhambra!).

An exploration of some of the delights which continue to make Scotland famous - castles, gardens, remote islands and an occasional wee dram. Visits to the Isles of Rum, Eigg, Colonsay, Jura and to distilleries on Skye and Islay. Also the lovely gardens of Inverewe, Achamore House on Gigha and the timeless Arduaine Gardens, overlooking the Sound of Jura. Dream-like and still!

Saunter in the subtropical gardens of Inverewe, the 19th century creation of Sir Osgood MacKenzie from a wilderness by the sea. This exotic walled oasis, sheltered from strong, salt-laden winds by belts of Scots and Corsican pines, teams with a multitude of plants and is the envy of horticulturalists worldwide. On Gigha seek refuge in the restful glades of Achamore House gardens. From our anchorage at Croabh Haven we visit the spectacular gardens of Arduaine, over 20 acres of exquisite blooms flourishing in a moist, mild climate. These lovely woods enjoy superb views towards the Sound of Jura and the lower garden boasts a fine subtropical plant collection.


Day 1 - Ship sails to St Tropez
Day 2 - Guided visit to Le Rayol-Canadel sur Mer Gardens - sail to Villefrance-sur-Mer
Day 3 - Guided visit of Villa Ephrussi-de-Rothschild (am) and Villa Gardens (pm) - overnight passage to Marina di Carrara, Italy
Day 4 - Villa Reale 17th Century Gardens (am) and Lucca (pm) - overnight passage to Tossa del Mar, Spain
Day 5 - At sea sailing to Tossa del Mar
Day 6 - Medieval town of Girona around Arab Baths and cathedral (am) and Ramblas
Day 7 - Drive past La Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila and La Pedrera, internal visit of Casa Batllo (am), shopping and flight home (pm)
